ABOUT ME:
First and foremost, I’m someone who loves to see people succeed. As a dietitian, I get to help people step into the version of themselves they’ve always dreamed of—every day. The beautiful thing about success is that you get to define it for yourself, and I’m here to use my extensive knowledge and experience to help make that dream a reality.
The truth is, most people already know what to eat. That’s not the hard part. Sure, nutrition is complex, and there’s a ton of nuance—especially if someone has a medical condition, food sensitivities, or a complicated relationship with food—but the real challenge for most of us is execution.
How do we make our nutrition, health, performance, or body composition goals fit into our busy, complicated, and completely unique lives? How do we juggle travel, holidays, work deadlines, insane kid schedules, and the need to exercise while fueling our bodies in a way that gets us where we want to be?
This is exactly what I help people do—and what I’ve been doing since 2017. We start with clear guidance, build a strong foundation, and then we make it happen. One meal at a time. One choice at a time. One habit at a time.
The people I work with see success, in part because they’re not doing it alone. Knowing you have someone in your corner, rooting for you, goes a long way. But supportive coaching isn’t the only reason my clients succeed. It’s also because I don’t subscribe to any of the BS. We do things based on science, not fads—and that seems increasingly rare these days.
I should probably also mention my education and background, since that’s important when you’re deciding whose advice to take about your health. After being young and free, and backpacking through Europe for a while in the early aughts, I realized that nutrition was what I wanted to pursue. My curiosity grew from two areas: (1) I fell madly in love with human biology and physiology, and (2) I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and wanted to explore every possible way to support my thyroid and overall health through nutrition.
I went all in and earned a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from San Francisco State University. After graduating, I almost immediately landed a job in clinical research at Stanford University School of Medicine, where I worked in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative, and Pain Medicine, exploring novel treatments for chronic pain. After about a year, I was accepted into Cornell University’s dietetic internship program, where I was fortunate to rotate through nearly every medical specialty—from the PICU to the burn unit ICU. It was a truly incredible clinical experience. Shortly after, I passed the dreaded RDN exam and officially became a registered dietitian in 2017.
Although I value my clinical background, my passion is helping people before they ever need a hospital—optimizing health, performance, and quality of life through practical, realistic nutrition.
As for hobbies, I’ve developed what appears to be an unrelenting love for long-distance running, tackling marathons and, more recently, ultramarathons in my “spare time.”
When I’m not pounding the pavement or galloping through redwood forests, you’ll find me in the kitchen—naturally. As stereotypical as it is, this dietitian loves to cook, bake, and eat. A lot.
And that’s me: someone who loves to see others succeed and truly loves being part of that journey. Because nutrition is powerful, food is happiness, and I absolutely love what I do.
What I Specialize In:
Body Composition (aka “weight loss”): fat loss, muscle gain or both (yes, you can do both).
Optimizing results while taking a GLP-1: minimizing muscle loss, optimizing nutrition and habits for long-term health.
Sports Nutrition: endurance sports are my passion, especially half marathon, full marathon, and ultramarathon distances. I also work with cyclists and triathletes.
Longevity and performance: nutrition optimization to support healthy aging and every day performance.
Meal Planning: custom meal plans that are designed for your specific needs, goals and preferences. They are full of delicious food and not even close to the bland, bodybuilder chicken, rice, broccoli diet.
